MEET THE DOCTORS
Dr. Musolf
I am Dr. Elise Musolf D.C. I grew up in the great Midwestern state of Wisconsin. This is initially where I became familiar and interested in chiropractic and made my decision to become a Chiropractor. I made this decision early in my high school studies when I saw the benefits of Chiropractic care with friends and family member who where being treated for conditions such as migraine headaches, stress and fatigue, allergies, and an auto injury that caused severe pain and problems.
In 1989, I began my Chiropractic undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin, where I spent two years. I then moved to Davenport, IA to attend the first, and in my opinion, the finest Chiropractic institution in the world, the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic. In 1995, I received a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree along with completing a Bachelor of Science Degree. Following graduation, and after completing extensive National Board requirements, I have been examined and licensed to practice Chiropractic and Physiotherapy in the states of Wisconsin and Colorado. Since receiving my Colorado state license I have been pleased to call Colorado my home. Since graduating from Chiropractic College, I have completed extensive post-graduate studies in X-ray diagnosis, Nutrition, upper cervical subluxation correction, full spine bio mechanical and extremity alterations and muscular related dysfunction. I have also studied numerous techniques and have attended multiple seminars studying the affects of low speed and high force injuries to the spine. All of these post-graduate seminars have allowed me to successfully deal with the problem cases, chronic pain issues, auto injuries, and a large range of health problems such as fibromyalgia, allergies, digestive disorders, TMD, weight loss, cardiovascular disease and a variety women's issues.
I have also had the opportunity to contribute the the Colorado Springs Community through lectures, donations programs, community organizations, church functions, and spinal screenings. http://www.musolfchiro.com
Dr. Holliger
Hi, I am Dr. Maria Holliger. I have been in practice since 1987. My studies included attending Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, followed by attending and graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in October of 1986 with both Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees. I then moved to Colorado and the amazing Pikes Peak area, where I worked as an associate doctor before opening my private practice in 1989.
My interests include horseback riding; I was on the Equestrian Team at Miami U and still have horses today. I have played, coached, and sponsored softball starting when I was 11 years old. These sports have enabled me to obtain first hand knowledge of both sports injury prevention and rehabilitation, as well as proper bio-mechanics instruction to excel at any sports you may choose.
During my 25 years in practice, I have completed a 360 hour post-graduate program in Chiropractic Orthopedics, studied hundreds of hours of nutrition and am a Science Based Nutrition chiropractor, and have become Webster Technique Certified by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. My goal as your Chiropractor is to help you meet your goals. Whether you need treatment for an automobile accident injury, help deciding which vitamin supplements are right for you, fast relief from pain, or support for infertility or pregnancy, I look forward to helping you. The human body has amazing capabilities to help itself, but sometimes it gets in its own way. My job is to help you help your body perform at its best. http://www.holligerchiropractic.com, http://www.icpa4kids.org, http://www.sciencebasednutrition.com
